As the weeks go on, I am more pleased to be working from home as a freelancer.  My perseverance is starting to show some real results and is giving me the incentive I need to continue on.  I very much enjoy the time I spend writing articles which are submitted on HubPages as well as a few other sites. 

I am a stay-at-home mom who loves quilting, crocheting, gardening and writing.  I also love to read and learn new things.  I am hard-pressed to leave a bookstore without a new book in hand.

I live on an acreage and we have horses, cats and dogs; and our newest additions are a small herd of alpacas and a pot bellied pig. They keep me busy each and every day, and inspire me to write.  Summer has proven to be a busy time of fencing to keep animals from performing their Houdini acts, and my thoughts of sitting out in the barnyard with pen and paper were just that...thoughts. I do have to say the writing didn't stop, and I was able to complete my first book in The Homemaker Helper Series and publish it in early September 2011.

The HubPages community is very knowledgeable and helpful in so many ways.  I look forward to many more years of being a member of this wonderful community.  Thank you HubPages and all my followers!

I have also recently published my Author/Freelancer website which has been an interesting and fun experience. My books and other works are available via the site. My Facebook page and Pinterest account are both accessible through my website. One final note: I started a gardening blog on April 24/12 which I am thoroughly enjoying.
